Sharon Sperber's NYC Tri Team in Training PledgePage

As most of you reading this know, my dad passed away in September 2002 from Leukemia (AML). In his honor and memory, I participated in my third event with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Program.

In addition to participating, I was a mentor for a group of triathletes in the NYC Chapter that trained for and completed the 2004 New York City Triathlon. Yes, we swam in the Hudson River. This was an Olympic Distance Tri, which is .9 mile swim, 25 mile bike and a 6.2 mile run.

Please read my letter which will explain in more detail what I have been doing and why this is so important to me. You can find this in the 1 March diary entry.

This event was my 3rd triathlon and next year I hope to do a half Ironman (1.2 mile swim, 26 bike and 13 run). I'll keep you posted on that...

If you can do one thing for me, please pass this website along to anyone and everyone you know. I have updated it with diary entries and a new photo album (2004 Ford NYC Triathlon) - I haven't updated much on the pledge info, however I have raised almost $3000. Keep those pledge's coming!

And sign the guestbook please - I want to know who's stopped by.

Thank you!!

-Sharon
